The Parent Intel
- Parking: FREE — three lots (A, B, C). Lot A near fields 1-10, Lot B near 11-14, Lot C near 15-22. Free golf cart/bench transport between lots and fields. All vehicles register at Front Gate. No RVs/campers inside park.
- Seating Vibe: Plastic green lawn chairs at fields (half shaded, half open). No risers — if someone sits in front of you, your view is blocked. BYO chairs welcome. Little Majors Stadium has bleachers. Tented Family Village near Retail Center has tables and shelter.
- Coffee Situation: Limited on-site. Nearest Starbucks in Oneonta (~20 min). Local cafes in Cooperstown village (~10 min).
- Food Policy: Snack shacks throughout Baseball Village near most fields (affordable). Dining pavilion on-site. Saturday & Thursday family BBQs. ⚠️ NO outside food/beverages (except bottled water) — NY State Health Dept regulation.
- Gate Fee: FREE admission to all games!
- Player Housing: Players stay in barracks (NOT parents). 6 bunk beds per side, no AC, limited outlets. Two footlockers per bunk. Parents drop off Sat 8:30 AM, must leave by 11 AM. "Blue slip" system for mid-week player check-out.
- Experience: Week-long immersive 12U tournaments. Pin trading, opening/closing ceremonies, Hall of Fame visit. Bucket-list experience for young players.
